Welcome to the website of the French-speaking Assemblies of God of Belgium!

The fellowship of the “Assemblies of God” was born in Fleurus on March 23, 1958, under the impulse of the Holy Spirit and the late pastor, Dr. Alfred Amitié.

It was under the name "Union of Pentecostal Evangelical Churches" that several Pentecostal churches joined together to form the denomination which would become, on February 22, 1965 les assemblées de Dieu de Belgique ».

One of our distinctive traits is that many of our churches were founded by missionaries from different countries, resulting in diverse ecclesiologies that we have learned to embrace and allow to coexist.

We therefore find among them missionaries from England, Switzerland, Sweden, France, the United States, and more recently from the Congo and Peru.

Later on, several Belgian pastors also founded churches; they were generally self-taught, and we owe them the utmost respect.

Out of respect for our Flemish brothers and their churches, we changed our name to “The French-speaking Assemblies of God of Belgium” on February 23, 2002.

Our churches are in fellowship with the worldwide family of Assemblies of God from various countries; nevertheless, the Belgian movement maintains its national autonomy.

A growing

movement!

Currently, the movement is made up of 32 churches, including 2 under administrative supervision, 5 church plants, and one church in fraternal fellowship. It is supported by 44 recognized pastors, 6 trainee pastors, one recognized female teacher, and 4 honorary pastors.

As you explore our website, you will discover our various departments as well as all of our activities.
